The RIPE 83 tech team will be available for testing sessions on Friday.
NRO NC Election
Date: The deadline to register to vote and check-in is 14:00 (UTC+1) on Tuesday, 23 November 2021. Voting is open from 17:00 (UTC+1) on Tuesday, 23 November 2021 until 10:30 (UTC+1) on Friday, 26 November 2021
Where: Attendees who have registerd to vote and checked in will receive a voting link via email
The election to fill one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) will take place during RIPE 83 from 22-26 November 2021. The three year term of Nurani Nimpuno will end on 31 December 2021.
All members of the RIPE community who are checked in to attend the RIPE 83 Meeting, except Regional Internet Registry (RIR) staff members, may vote in the election.
Academic and NREN Session
Date: Monday 15 November
Time: 14:00-15:30 (UTC+1)
Where: We will send the Zoom link an hour before the session starts

The purpose of this session is to stimulate discussion on topics of mutual interest between academics, NRENs and other attendees working in the research and education industry. We will start with an introduction round followed by short presentations and a Q&A.

Dress code: Wear your Certified Professionals gear and be ready for a photo!

The Daily Kahoot! Quiz
Time: From Monday to Thursday, during the lunch break from 12:45-13:00 (UTC+1). On Friday, immediately after the Closing Plenary session.

Every day a new topic and new sound effects. Test your RIPE knowledge with quizmaster Gerardo Viviers for a chance to win some RIPE 83 goodies! Make sure to have your RIPE 83 registration number and the Kahoot! app ready before we start.
Tip: For the best chance at winning, have the Kahoot app installed on your phone so that you can follow the questions on the screen and answer even faster.
5 Minute Stretch Break
Time: On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, during the afternoon coffee break at 15:45 (UTC+1). On Wednesday, during the afternoon coffee break at 15:15 (UTC+1).

Pull up a chair and join our coach for a gentle stretch session that you can do from your home or office. During each five-minute break, you will be guided through stretches for more energy and a better posture to ease your way into an afternoon of sessions at RIPE 83.
